Vacation | Nice, France

It is vacation week here on my blog. Why a week you ask? Well….. I have so many pictures I can’t narrow it down to one post so stick around and enjoy.

My husband and I LOVE to travel. We went to Europe on a 5 week adventure a few years ago. We had a blast and planned our next trip before we even arrived home. When we got married last year our dream honeymoon would of been a 2 week romp in Europe but do to the fact that wedding planning takes up SO MUCH TIME and energy we chose a honeymoon with less planning and more relaxing. We don’t regret our decision one bit but we made it a priority to make sure for our one year anniversary we would travel to Europe.

Our original plan consisted of many countries but due to time we narrowed it down to 4 fabulous destinations. For our honeymoon we traveled to Aruba and Curacao and we absolutly LOVED sitting on the beach and doing nothing. The only decision we had to make was what time and where we wanted to have dinner. Europe is a different beast. The last time we were in Europe we were non-stop, spending 2-3 days in each city and going to museum after museum while waking up way too early to beat the crowds. We even planned two vacation spots during our vacation so we had time to relax. For this trip we wanted to incorporate what we loved from our honeymoon which was beaches and relaxing. So our plan was to stayed near the coast, made sure we had enough time in each place so were not rushed and took our time exploring. I have to admit we even slept in everyday! It was a wonderful vacation.

So here we go, our first stop was Nice, France. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Nice! We spent 4 wonderful days here and enjoyed every minute. I would love to go back and spend 2 weeks exclusively in Nice with a few day trips of course.

Tons of Italian food and not so much french food.I wanted to take a picture of this giant Nutella jar but this man said I could only take a picture with him in it:) so there you have it. And what can I say about gelato beside we had it every night. yum.
