Honeymoon Part 1

Mike and I have been married for 3 months now. WOW time flys!! One of our main goals for the wedding was to go on a honeymoon. It was actually the first thing we paid for… well maybe the second. Our thought was that we needed to book the honeymoon before we ran out of money. That way if we ran out of money during the wedding planning we would not have to cut our honeymoon. And with all the planning and projects we needed a vacation. We wanted to go some were tropical but wanted to do some sight seeing as well. Europe was our first choice but I didn’t think I could have planned a wedding AND a multi country trip at the same time. Getting married in August limited Caribbean hot spots so we ended up in Aruba which is out of the hurricane belt. The sand is white and the water is warm and blue. We also took a day trip to Curacao and to get our sight seeing in we spent 4 days in New York. We want to go back! We talk about our honeymoon about 5 times a week. It was absolutly amazing. AMAZING!

these were the shells we collected throughout the week that we could not take home.

I bought some fish food to bring on our snorkeling trip and it worked like magic. I had so many fish around me and when I ran out they bit me! Crazy.
Swam with Dolphins in Curacao. This was my wedding gift from Mike.

The food was delicious! One day we rented a jeep and explored the back of the island. It was an interesting trip. The natural pool was beautiful but I’m not sure if we would drive there again. We pretty much climbed a mountain and have no idea how we made our way there and back.
