Kirsten & Ron | engagement

A couple weeks ago I met up with Kirsten and Ron to do their engagement session. They are such a sweet couple!

When we were planning the engagement session Kirsten was not really sure if they should do one since it is so close to their wedding day. Engagement sessions are a great way to get used to being in front of the camera and preparing you for your wedding day. Also being engaged is such an exciting and happy time of your life. It is usually a small window of time but it is truly a special loving time that you should enjoy and cherish. I get a little giddy just thinking about my engagement. We had a long engagement just so we could enjoy that transition and take our time with the planning of our wedding. I am so glad they decided to do one! I absolutely love so many of these images!

We decide to meet up in Old Sacramento since Ron is a bartender at a local bar. We had a great time wondering around and capturing some great shots. I can’t wait for their wedding coming up in August.
