Goodbye 2011 and hello 2012

This year just flew by and it seems like every year gets shorter and shorter. I remember when I was a kid it seemed like one year was SOOOO LONNNNG! I remember on my birthday waiting for my party to start was so excruciating and the month of December felt like 3 months in one with all the excitement and anticipation of Christmas. As I get it older it seems like months just slip by and before you know it, it’s the end of summer or the start of a new year. I guess that is what happens when you are having fun.

I will miss 2011. It was filled with meeting new people, photography galore and feeling accomplished with what I have done. In the world of photography I think I have truly grown and I feel like I will forever be learning and growing as I attempt to master my craft. I was blessed with opportunity to photograph some amazing individuals, families and couples this year. I truly think of all of my sessions as my favorites. I have photographed newborns all bunched up with their adorable wrinkly skin. I have photographed families as they have grown. I have photographed the sweetest couples both freshly engaged, married and couples that have been together for years. I have photographed beautiful individuals. I truly have had so much fun with each and every client.

On the personal side my husband and I celebrated our one year anniversary in some of the most beautiful places in the world. Stay tuned for those pictures. I am planning a vacation week extravaganza (It might become 2 weeks since I can’t narrow down what I want to share). Traveling is a huge passion for my husband and I. We still have a long list of places we would like to visit.
