I’m so excited to share our nursery with everyone! Creating this special room has been extremely fun and it’s truly our favorite room of the house. We love sitting in here at night and thinking about our baby girl. We love to talk about all the things we want to teach her, all the places we will go and all the memories and traditions we will have.
I had a simple concept and of course created a mood board of all my ideas. I think we stayed pretty true to the initial concept. Mike was amazing and did all the heavy lifting and pretty much everything in the room 🙂
I made this mobile from some of our wedding decorations and I just love how it turned out!
My favorite part of her room is the library. We can’t wait to read to her <3
We found this dresser at a thrift store and it was just perfect! Mike painted it white and we used the existing hardware.
I made this quilt for our baby girl and LOVE how it turned out! I wanted to tie in all the colors and fabrics used in the room and make something special for her to keep forever. I found a great tutorial here.
My mom made the crib skirt, mattress sheet, crib bumper (not shown), grey bear in crib and this diaper caddy. She did an amazing job and we love how everything turned out.
This rocking chair was given to us by some good friends. We reupholstered it to match the room and it is my favorite chair in the house. I can put myself to sleep rocking in it so I hope it works for baby.
and we can’t forget about the closet! Mike made a custom closet and we hope that we can keep it this clean.Â
The dresser in the closet was something I found at a thrift store a couple years ago and Mike painted it to match the room.
