When I was in Sonoma last month my friend and I had lunch at The Fremont Diner. I must confess I use Yelp religiously at home and when I travel. It is my go to resource for all things food and from time to time everything else. When I knew I would be in Sonoma I had to explore the dining options. I came across The Fremont Diner and it seemed to be exactly what I was looking for on a sunny afternoon in wine country. I love that everything is fresh from local farms. With vintage/retro decor this roadside diner had great personality.
We ate outside because it was a BEAUTIFUL day. They have robin egg blue picnic tables for their patio seating. PERFECT! Their menu was visually nice but hard to read. I’m sure if you are a regular that is no problem but for us we had to explore all our options. We both ordered a milkshake. I have to say that milkshakes have been somewhat of a new obsession of mine. I think it is a must if you eat at a diner. I ordered a chocolate milkshake and it was delicious.
My mini chicken sandwich was adorable:) HA! It was really good and just the right size because we also ordered a salad, mac and cheese, and biscuits to share. The biscuits were so good! A must order item. Check out our lunch spread. beautiful view.
I will defiantly be coming back to this little diner. I heard their breakfast is amazing and I want to try their chicken and waffles too… and everything else on the menu. YUM!!
